FILM SUPPLY FOR DETAILING STUDIOS

Add PPF to the detailing menu without adding a second supplier.

Film And Coating
Belong On One Menu

Ceramic coatings can be applied over Defcon PPF and do not interfere with the 13-micron self-healing layer, so a studio can quote film-plus-coating as one package instead of competing line items.

Aftercare stays simple: no special maintenance beyond regular cleaning, which keeps the handover conversation short and the customer relationship long.

From Correction Work
To Protection Work

Paint correction customers are protection prospects: once the finish is perfect, the film is what keeps it that way, with minor wash marks healing under heat.

Touch-up areas should be buffed smooth before application, which is exactly the prep a detailing studio already does well.

One Supplier,
Six Film Lines

Studio orders for Glanz, Frozen and Spectra run through the same trade portal as prep products.

For a studio the menu order is usually Glanz, then Frozen for matte clients, then Spectra colour, with FleetArmour, Crystal Shield and CoolVue available when a job calls for them.

Trade Pricing &
Sample Rolls

Studios adding film to a detailing menu get the same trade login and private pricing as full-time installers. Your film margin sits alongside your correction and coating margin, unseen by the customer.

Correction work already gives a studio the prep discipline film needs. Request a free sample roll, lay a bonnet after a correction and coat over it to see how the package quotes as one job.

Warranty
By Film Line

Film and coating are warranted separately: Defcon covers the film, 10 years on Glanz and Frozen, 12 on Defcon ONE, under normal use and proper installation, and the warranty page asks you to test coatings and sealants over PPF before applying. Details on the warranty page.

Studio installs register through e-Warranty within 7 days of invoice, separate from any coating warranty you offer.

Film claims follow the procedure on the warranty page; coating claims go to the coating manufacturer.

Training &
Installer Support

PPF installation training and support come through the same team that supplies the film: training sessions, cutting software setup and tooling advice are part of the trade relationship, not a separate vendor.

New installers can start with the Starter Pack, practice on the Practice Pack, then move to full rolls once confident. Technical questions are answered through our contact page, in English or Chinese.
