Which vehicles suit Glanz?
Glanz suits daily drivers and show cars where the goal is keeping factory gloss paint untouched. For matte and satin vehicles use Defcon Frozen instead, and for a colour change with the same protection see Defcon Spectra.
High Gloss &
Optical Clarity
Our high-clarity aliphatic TPU construction ensures maximum light transmission and deep surface gloss, creating a glass-like finish.
UV Resistance
Defcon Glanz is engineered with a premium aliphatic TPU and a UV-protective top coat to safeguard the adhesive from yellowing. Lab tested by ARPANSA in Melbourne for UV performance, it holds its clarity instead of yellowing.
Film Thickness
With a total thickness of 190±10% microns (≈ 7.5 mils), the build balances optical clarity, stretch and protective thickness, a result made possible by our choice of aliphatic TPU.
