PPF CUTTING SOFTWARE & PLOTTER

OEMC pattern software and the DFA plotter, from the film supplier.

Cut Patterns In-House,
Off The Paint

OEMC pattern software and the DFA plotter let your shop cut vehicle patterns from a library instead of hand trimming on paint, which is where most film damage claims start.

Both are standard catalogue items in the Defcon product range, supplied and supported by the same team that supplies the film, so one contact covers the whole cutting workflow.

Software, Plotter,
Film: One Stack

Running film, patterns and plotter from one supplier means compatibility questions have one answer, reached through one contact page.

New shops can set up the full stack in one order, and established shops can bring cutting in-house without changing film brands.

Where Precut Kits
Fit

Patterns are cut in-house from the OEMC library, so jobs are not waiting on precut kits or dealer stock.

On complex curved panels certified installation is still the recommendation, which is the work your shop sells.

Trade Pricing &
Sample Rolls

Wholesale pricing sits behind the trade login, so your buy rates stay confidential. There are no public price lists to undercut the margin you charge your own customers.

Before committing to full rolls, request a free sample roll and run it through your own installation process, or order the Defcon Practice Pack to train on real film without touching customer stock.

Training &
Installer Support

PPF installation training and support come through the same team that supplies the film: training sessions, cutting software setup and tooling advice are part of the trade relationship, not a separate vendor.

New installers can start with the Starter Pack, practice on the Practice Pack, then move to full rolls once confident. Technical questions are answered through our contact page, in English or Chinese.

One Supplier,
Six Film Lines

Order gloss (Defcon ONE, Glanz), satin (Frozen), colour (Spectra), EV glass protection (Crystal Shield) and CoolVue window tint from a single trade portal, with one warranty system and one support contact behind every roll.

Each line has a job: Glanz is the high-clarity gloss film, Frozen carries a satin finish, Spectra offers more than 200 colours in both gloss and satin, FleetArmour covers 4WD and fleet panels as a cost-efficient sacrificial layer, Crystal Shield protects EV glass, and CoolVue resists colour fading and distortion on automotive glass.

FAQ

  • How do I open a trade account?

Get in touch through our contact page and our team sets up your trade account, activating wholesale pricing on your login. Once approved, you order through the online shop and stock is dispatched Australia-wide. Your buy rates never appear on the public site or in front of your customers.

  • Are precut kits available?

Defcon film is supplied in full rolls and cut in-house with OEMC pattern software; precut kits are not part of the range. On complex curved panels we still recommend certified installation.

  • Can I test the film before ordering?

Yes. Request a free sample roll and run it through your own installation process, or order the Defcon Practice Pack to train on real film before touching customer stock.

  • How deep a scratch will the film self-heal?

The self-healing clear coat is about 13 microns thick. Scratches contained in that layer repair with heat from sunlight or warm water. Anything that cuts through the clear coat is permanent, and that section should be replaced.

  • Can the film go over paint touch-ups?

Yes, but touch-up areas should be smooth and professionally buffed before application for the best finish, so inspect repair spots at quoting time.

  • Do you offer support in Chinese?

Yes. Bilingual consultation in English and Chinese is available through our WeChat channel, covering product selection, ordering and technical questions. 我们提供中英双语咨询。

  • How long does the film last?

Defcon ONE carries a 12-year warranty and Glanz a 10-year warranty covering yellowing, staining, bubbling, peeling and cracking, so the film you sell is warranted for close to the ownership life of most vehicles.

  • What maintenance should end customers follow?

No special maintenance is needed beyond regular cleaning. The self-healing top coat handles minor wash marks with heat, and full care terms sit alongside the warranty conditions on the warranty page.
