PPF CUTTING SOFTWARE & PLOTTER
OEMC pattern software and the DFA plotter, from the film supplier.
Cut Patterns In-House,
Off The Paint
OEMC pattern software and the DFA plotter let your shop cut vehicle patterns from a library instead of hand trimming on paint, which is where most film damage claims start.
Both are standard catalogue items in the Defcon product range, supplied and supported by the same team that supplies the film, so one contact covers the whole cutting workflow.
Software, Plotter,
Film: One Stack
Running film, patterns and plotter from one supplier means compatibility questions have one answer, reached through one contact page.
New shops can set up the full stack in one order, and established shops can bring cutting in-house without changing film brands.
Trade Pricing &
Sample Rolls
Software, plotter and film are priced as one trade catalogue. Buying the cutting stack from the film supplier means one account and one set of trade terms.
The best way to judge a pattern library is to cut a pattern on the film you will run: request a free sample roll, load a bonnet pattern and see how the cut piece lays before you commit to rolls.
Training &
Installer Support
PPF installation training and support come through the same team that supplies the film: training sessions, cutting software setup and tooling advice are part of the trade relationship, not a separate vendor.
New installers can start with the Starter Pack, practice on the Practice Pack, then move to full rolls once confident. Technical questions are answered through our contact page, in English or Chinese.
One Supplier,
Six Film Lines
Software, plotter and every film line are on the same online shop, which is what makes the cutting workflow a single-vendor setup.
The plotter cuts patterns for every film line: Glanz, Frozen, Spectra colour, FleetArmour, and the glass lines Crystal Shield and CoolVue.

FAQ
-
Do I need a trade account to order?
To add the plotter and OEMC software to a trade account, contact the team; setup support is part of the supply relationship.
-
Are precut kits available?
Defcon film is supplied in full rolls and cut in-house with OEMC pattern software; precut kits are not part of the range. On complex curved panels we still recommend certified installation.
-
Can I test the film before ordering?
Yes. Request a free sample roll and run it through your own installation process, or order the Defcon Practice Pack to train on real film before touching customer stock.
-
How deep a scratch will the film self-heal?
The self-healing clear coat is about 13 microns thick. Scratches contained in that layer repair with heat from sunlight or warm water. Anything that cuts through the clear coat is permanent, and that section should be replaced.
-
Can the film go over paint touch-ups?
Yes, but touch-up areas should be smooth and professionally buffed before application for the best finish, so inspect repair spots at quoting time.
-
Do you offer support in Chinese?
Yes. Bilingual consultation in English and Chinese is available through our WeChat channel, covering product selection, ordering and technical questions. 我们提供中英双语咨询。
-
How long does the film last?
Defcon ONE carries a 12-year warranty and Glanz a 10-year warranty covering yellowing, staining, bubbling, peeling and cracking, so the film you sell is warranted for close to the ownership life of most vehicles.
-
What maintenance should end customers follow?
No special maintenance is needed beyond regular cleaning. The self-healing top coat handles minor wash marks with heat, and full care terms sit alongside the warranty conditions on the warranty page.
