PPF TOOLS & SUPPLIES WHOLESALE

Prep, slip solution and cutting hardware in the same trade order.

Consumables Ship
With The Film

One order covers film, prep and slip solution: DFA Surface Cleaner comes in 24-can cartons and Installation Gel in 16-litre drums, sitting in the same catalogue as the rolls.

Surface preparation is also a warranty condition: cover requires a clean, contaminant-free surface at installation, so running approved prep products protects both the job and the claim.

Hardware In The
Same Catalogue

The DFA plotter and OEMC software sit alongside the consumables, so a shop setting up in-house cutting orders everything from one catalogue.

Practice and starter packs give new installers real film to train on before customer work.

Trade Pricing &
Sample Rolls

Cartons of DFA Surface Cleaner and drums of Installation Gel are priced for shops that go through them weekly.

Prep products are easiest to judge on a real install: request a free sample roll and run your first Defcon panel with DFA Surface Cleaner in the prep stage so you see the adhesive behave as the warranty expects.

Warranty
By Film Line

Surface preparation is a warranty condition, not a suggestion: cover requires a clean, contaminant-free surface at installation, and a claim on a panel with wax or silicone residue will fail. The full list of conditions is on the warranty page.

Prep products do not need registering; the film they go under does, through e-Warranty within 7 days of invoice.

Because prep is a warranty condition, a claim is assessed against it; the full procedure is on the warranty page.

Who We Supply
Across Australia

Cleaner, gel, squeegees and film go out in the same order from Australian warehousing via the online shop. What each product does at each stage is laid out in the PPF installation guide.

Bilingual consultation in English and Chinese is available through the WeChat channel for product selection and wholesale ordering. 华人安装商可通过微信获得中英双语的选品与批发咨询。

Training &
Installer Support

PPF installation training and support come through the same team that supplies the film: training sessions, cutting software setup and tooling advice are part of the trade relationship, not a separate vendor.

New installers can start with the Starter Pack, practice on the Practice Pack, then move to full rolls once confident. Technical questions are answered through our contact page, in English or Chinese.

One Supplier,
Six Film Lines

Consumables sit in the same online shop as Glanz, Frozen, Spectra and the glass lines.

Cleaner and gel are used the same way under every line, from Glanz and Frozen to Spectra colour, FleetArmour and the Crystal Shield and CoolVue glass films.

FAQ

  • Do I need a trade account to order?

Consumables are ordered from the same online shop as film. To open a trade account, use the contact page.

  • Can I test the film before ordering?

Yes. Request a free sample roll and run it through your own installation process, or order the Defcon Practice Pack to train on real film before touching customer stock.

  • Can film go over dealer-applied waxes or sealants?

Remove waxes and sealants before applying PPF because they interfere with adhesion, and surface preparation is a warranty condition. If the customer wants them, apply after installation.

  • What maintenance should end customers follow?

No special maintenance is needed beyond regular cleaning. The self-healing top coat handles minor wash marks with heat, and full care terms sit alongside the warranty conditions on the warranty page.

  • Are precut kits available?

Defcon film is supplied in full rolls and cut in-house with OEMC pattern software; precut kits are not part of the range. On complex curved panels we still recommend certified installation.

  • Do you offer support in Chinese?

Yes. Bilingual consultation in English and Chinese is available through our WeChat channel, covering product selection, ordering and technical questions. 我们提供中英双语咨询。

  • Can the film go on surfaces other than cars?

Yes. Defcon PPF installs on any smooth painted surface, which is why sign writers and asset owners use it beyond vehicles. Chrome is also workable: test a small patch first and show the customer before wrapping the full trim.

  • Does removing the film damage paint?

Modern factory paint adheres to the panel far more strongly than the film adheres to the paint, so correct removal is very unlikely to damage original paint. Recommend professional removal using heat to soften the adhesive.
