Description
A gauge for measuring paint thickness during vehicle inspection.
Checking the paint before film goes on protects the installer as much as the car. The Defcon film warranty excludes film installed on non-OEM paint and repainted panels, and readings that differ from panel to panel are worth noting with the customer before the job starts.
Keep the readings with the job records that sit behind the e-Warranty registration. For tint jobs, the matching tool is the Window Tint Gauge.
