BULK PPF ROLLS AUSTRALIA
Volume film supply for high-throughput shops and fleet work.
Volume Supply Without
The Retail Layer
Defcon sells film by the roll direct to the trade, so high-throughput shops buy at wholesale rates through the online shop instead of paying a retail margin on every job.
For volume work the catalogue splits by job type: FleetArmour as the cost-efficient bulk line for coverage work, and the gloss lines where the customer is paying for finish.
FleetArmour For
Coverage Work
FleetArmour is a sacrificial layer made for wear and tear: priced for coverage rather than showroom finish, straightforward on large flat sections, and backed by a 3-year limited warranty.
Fleet operators and mining-region shops order it for tray sides, sills and high-abrasion zones where the job is protection volume.
One Supplier,
Six Film Lines
Order gloss (Defcon ONE, Glanz), satin (Frozen), colour (Spectra), EV glass protection (Crystal Shield) and CoolVue window tint from a single trade portal, with one warranty system and one support contact behind every roll.
Each line has a job: Glanz is the high-clarity gloss film, Frozen carries a satin finish, Spectra offers more than 200 colours in both gloss and satin, FleetArmour covers 4WD and fleet panels as a cost-efficient sacrificial layer, Crystal Shield protects EV glass, and CoolVue resists colour fading and distortion on automotive glass.
Film Construction
& Testing
The gloss PPF lines are built on aliphatic TPU at a total thickness of 190 microns ±10%, about 7.5 mils, with single-point puncture resistance close to 10 kg and a 13-micron self-healing top coat that repairs minor scratches under heat.
UV protection is lab tested by ARPANSA, the Australian Radiation Protection and Nuclear Safety Agency, with an adhesive tuned for repositioning during install. These are the numbers customers ask about. Quote them straight from this page. The film stretches over curves and contours without lifting, and the easy-tack adhesive slides during positioning then grips once placed, which shortens installation time on complex panels.
Trade Pricing &
Sample Rolls
Wholesale pricing sits behind the trade login, so your buy rates stay confidential. There are no public price lists to undercut the margin you charge your own customers.
Before committing to full rolls, request a free sample roll and run it through your own installation process, or order the Defcon Practice Pack to train on real film without touching customer stock.
Warranty
By Film Line
Each film line carries its own limited warranty: 12 years on Defcon ONE, 10 years on Glanz and Frozen PPF, 7 years on Spectra colour PPF, 3 years on Crystal Shield and FleetArmour, and a lifetime limited warranty on CoolVue window tint, always under normal use and proper installation. Full terms are on the warranty page.
Every roll and installation is registered through the e-Warranty system. Registration is completed within 7 days of the customer invoice, cover applies to film installed on OEM paintwork by an authorised Defcon installer, and the warranty transfers to subsequent vehicle owners while a valid e-Warranty record exists.
Claims follow a defined procedure: the invoice, the e-Warranty registration, vehicle details and photos or video of the affected area. Abnormal or premature yellowing is treated as a manufacturing defect and covered, unauthorised resale voids cover, and the warranty is governed by Victorian law.
Consumables In
The Same Order
Installation consumables ship with the film: DFA Surface Cleaner in 24-can cartons and Installation Gel in 16-litre drums sit in the same catalogue, so one order covers film, prep and slip solution.
Surface preparation is also a warranty condition: cover requires a clean, contaminant-free surface at installation, so running approved prep products protects both the job and the claim.
FAQ
-
How do I open a trade account?
Get in touch through our contact page and our team sets up your trade account, activating wholesale pricing on your login. Once approved, you order through the online shop and stock is dispatched Australia-wide. Your buy rates never appear on the public site or in front of your customers.
-
Can I test the film before ordering?
Yes. Request a free sample roll and run it through your own installation process, or order the Defcon Practice Pack to train on real film before touching customer stock.
-
How long does the film last?
FleetArmour carries a 3-year warranty as a sacrificial layer priced for replacement rather than repair. The gloss lines run longer: 10 years on Glanz, 12 on Defcon ONE at launch.
-
Can the film go on surfaces other than cars?
Yes. Defcon PPF installs on any smooth painted surface, which is why sign writers and asset owners use it beyond vehicles. Chrome is also workable: test a small patch first and show the customer before wrapping the full trim.
-
Can film go over dealer-applied waxes or sealants?
Remove waxes and sealants before applying PPF because they interfere with adhesion, and surface preparation is a warranty condition. If the customer wants them, apply after installation.
-
Does removing the film damage paint?
Modern factory paint adheres to the panel far more strongly than the film adheres to the paint, so correct removal is very unlikely to damage original paint. Recommend professional removal using heat to soften the adhesive.
-
Do you offer support in Chinese?
Yes. Bilingual consultation in English and Chinese is available through our WeChat channel, covering product selection, ordering and technical questions. 我们提供中英双语咨询。
