How the program works

What to test on the bench
Start with the adhesive. Defcon film uses an easy-tack adhesive that slides during positioning and grips once placed. Put it on a curved panel and see how much repositioning you get before it locks. Then stretch. The film is built to install over curves and contours without lifting, so pick the panel that gives your team the most trouble today. Finally, heat. The 13-micron self-healing top coat repairs light scratches under heat, provided they have not breached the top coat. Scuff a test piece with a fingernail and watch it recover with a heat gun.
What to test on the numbers
Ask the same questions you would ask any supplier and check the answers against the sample. Defcon Glanz is built on aliphatic TPU at 190 microns, plus or minus 10 percent, about 7.5 mils, with single-point puncture resistance close to 10 kg. UV protection is lab tested by ARPANSA, the Australian Radiation Protection and Nuclear Safety Agency, in Melbourne. What to test after the sample
The film is only half the switch.
