How the Defcon e-Warranty system protects installers and owners
Every roll is serialised and every installation registered. Here is what that means when a claim happens, and why transferable cover matters at resale.
Every roll of Defcon film carries a unique serial number. When an authorised Defcon Films installer completes a job, the installation is registered through the e-Warranty portal within 7 days, creating a digital record that links the product, the installer and the vehicle.
For installers, that record is protection. If a manufacturing defect appears, the claim starts from a verified record rather than a debate about what was installed and when. Warranty periods for each product line, from Defcon ONE at 12 years through to the rest of the range, are listed on the warranty page, and sales partners assess claims with the defect resolution guide.
For vehicle owners, the record answers the question every used-car buyer asks: is this genuine? The warranty transfers to subsequent owners while a valid e-Warranty record exists, which makes documented protection a real line item at resale. We encourage owners to request a copy of the e-Warranty record from their installer and keep it with the service history.
A warranty is only as good as the paperwork behind it. Serialised rolls and registered installations mean the paperwork writes itself.
