Description
Defcon PPF Installation Slip is a concentrated slip solution in a 200 mL bottle, diluted with water before use. It puts a layer of slip between film and paint, so the film glides across the panel while it is positioned and aligned.
Water quality matters in any slip mix. Hard water leaves scale in sprayers and on paint, and moisture haze or dust trapped under film counts as an installation fault rather than a film defect. The slip solution and water quality article covers what to check before mixing.
Mixed slip goes into the 2 L pump foam sprayer or a 750 mL trigger bottle. Workshops using larger volumes can run DFA Installation Gel, which comes in a 16 L drum.
