SATIN PPF SUPPLIER AUSTRALIA

Defcon Frozen satin film for matte and stealth work.

The Satin Line:
Defcon Frozen

Defcon Frozen is the satin line in the Defcon range, built for matte factory paint and stealth conversions on gloss vehicles, and backed by a 10-year limited warranty, the same cover as the Glanz gloss line.

Satin work is a premium niche: customers who ask for it know what they want, and the film that protects a matte finish has to keep it matte, which is exactly what Frozen is engineered to do.

Satin Finish,
Standard Workflow

Frozen runs through the same workflow as the rest of the range: patterns cut in-house on the DFA plotter with OEMC software, prep with DFA Surface Cleaner, and e-Warranty registration on completion.

The 13-micron self-healing top coat handles minor wash marks under heat without changing the satin character of the finish.

Film Construction
& Testing

Defcon Frozen, like the gloss PPF lines, is built on aliphatic TPU at a total thickness of 190 microns ±10%, about 7.5 mils, with single-point puncture resistance close to 10 kg and a 13-micron self-healing top coat that repairs minor scratches under heat.

UV testing by ARPANSA covers the Glanz clear TPU base that Frozen shares (99.0% of UV blocked, reference UVR_25-0370-1); Frozen adds its UV-resistant satin top coat over that base. On satin the install numbers matter as much: easy-tack adhesive that repositions, and stretch that clears curves without lifting or marking the finish.

Trade Pricing &
Sample Rolls

Satin work is premium work. The Frozen roll price is shown on its product page, ex. GST, so the margin on a matte job can be worked out before the car arrives.

Satin film shows every prep mistake, which is why a free sample roll of Frozen is worth laying on a matte test panel before the first customer car. Teams new to satin should run the Practice Pack first. For the quoting side, read how to quote satin PPF.

Warranty
By Film Line

Frozen carries the same 10-year limited warranty as the Glanz gloss line, under normal use and proper installation, and abnormal or premature discolouration is treated as a manufacturing defect. The conditions are on the warranty page.

Satin installs register through e-Warranty within 7 days of invoice; the 10-year Frozen cover transfers with the car while that record exists.

Abnormal or premature discolouration on satin is a covered defect; the claim procedure is on the warranty page.

Training &
Installer Support

PPF installation training and support come through the same team that supplies the film: training sessions, cutting software setup and tooling advice are part of the trade relationship, not a separate vendor.

New installers can start with the Starter Pack, practice on the Practice Pack, then move to full rolls once confident. Technical questions are answered through our contact page, in English or Chinese.
