COLOUR PPF SUPPLIER SYDNEY
Spectra colour paint protection film for Sydney wrap and restyling shops.
Sydney wrap shops and restylers can buy Defcon Spectra colour PPF by the roll: more than 200 colours in gloss and satin, 18 m rolls on selected colours, and a 7-year limited warranty registered through e-Warranty. Spectra changes the colour and protects the paint in one film, which vinyl cannot do. This page covers how colour PPF is quoted, how it compares with vinyl, and freight to Sydney: about $19.28 by CouriersPlease on a 16-litre drum to a Sydney postcode. A Sydney shop comparing suppliers can start with a free sample roll and run it against the film it uses today.
Colour Work
In Sydney
Sydney's restyling market runs on colour, which makes Spectra the line Sydney wrap shops ask about first.
Sydney's restyling market runs on colour, and detailing studios, tint shops, wrap shops and dealerships all buy from the same catalogue.
Spectra
By The Roll
More than 200 Spectra colours run in both gloss and satin, and selected colours come on 18 m rolls. The film carries a 7-year limited warranty and a self-healing top coat, like the clear lines.
Prices are listed ex. GST in the online shop, no account needed. The colour PPF wholesale page covers the national range, and the wrap shop page covers how vinyl skills transfer to film.
Spectra
Against Vinyl
Traditional vinyl only changes the look. Spectra does that and takes the stone chips and wash marks too, then comes off cleanly when the owner wants the original paint back. The PPF vs vinyl wrap comparison sets out where each film fits.
Quoting A
Colour Change
Before quoting, read the restyling quote guide: it sets a Spectra job against a vinyl job line by line. A free sample roll lets the customer settle the colour before the quote is final.
Colour and clear film are cut from the same OEMC pattern library on the DFA Plotter, so colour work does not need a second workflow. The DFA Plotter and OEMC pattern software ship to Sydney like any other order, with software setup done remotely by the supply team.
Freight To
Sydney
Sydney has more PPF and tint shops than any other Australian city, and most of them buy film interstate. Defcon dispatches from Melbourne by CouriersPlease or TNT Road Express; a 16-litre drum of Installation Gel to a Sydney postcode quotes about $19.28 and $27.06 respectively, and orders over $1000 ex. GST ship free. A roll order placed early in the week is normally in the workshop by the next.
The checkout shows the transit time for the postcode before payment, 1 to 4 business days by CouriersPlease and 1 to 3 by TNT Road Express.
A colour roll ordered with clear film and consumables usually clears the free shipping line.
Warranty That
Stays With The Car
Spectra carries a 7-year limited warranty under normal use and proper installation. Every roll is serialised and every installation is registered through e-Warranty within 7 days of invoice, by an authorised installer on OEM paint.
The record transfers to later owners while it is valid, so the colour change and the protection behind it stay documented when the car is sold.
Training
And Support
Installation training, software setup and tooling advice come from the supply team, in English or Chinese, rather than a separate vendor.
The Practice Pack gives new installers real film to train on before a customer car.
