COLOUR PPF SUPPLIER ADELAIDE
Spectra colour paint protection film for Adelaide wrap and restyling shops.
Adelaide wrap shops and restylers can buy Defcon Spectra colour PPF by the roll: more than 200 colours in gloss and satin, 18 m rolls on selected colours, and a 7-year limited warranty registered through e-Warranty. Spectra changes the colour and protects the paint in one film, which vinyl cannot do. This page covers how colour PPF is quoted, how it compares with vinyl, and freight to Adelaide: about $19.28 by CouriersPlease on a 16-litre drum to an Adelaide postcode, the same as Sydney. A free sample roll is the normal first step for an Adelaide shop comparing suppliers.

Satin and colour work sits alongside gloss in Adelaide, and a colour change in film quotes differently from a vinyl job.

Spectra
By The Roll
Defcon Spectra comes in more than 200 colours across gloss and satin finishes, with 18 m rolls on selected colours and a 7-year limited warranty. At PPF-grade thickness it lays down with the depth of an OEM sprayed finish and protects the factory paint underneath.
Prices are listed ex. GST in the online shop, no account needed. The colour PPF wholesale page covers the national range, and the wrap shop page covers how vinyl skills transfer to film.
Spectra
Against Vinyl
Vinyl changes colour; Spectra changes colour and protects. It absorbs stone chips that tear vinyl, heals light scratches with heat and removes cleanly without damaging the paint. The PPF vs vinyl wrap comparison sets out where each film fits.
Quoting A
Colour Change
The restyling quote guide is the starting point for pricing, because a colour change in film and a vinyl wrap cost differently to install. A free sample roll lets the customer settle the colour before the quote is final.
Colour and clear film are cut from the same OEMC pattern library on the DFA Plotter, so colour work does not need a second workflow. Adelaide's hard water is a known cause of residue under film, so check the water before mixing slip solution.
Freight To
Adelaide
South Australia sits next door to the Melbourne dispatch point, which shows in the freight. A 16-litre drum of Installation Gel to an Adelaide postcode quotes about $19.28 by CouriersPlease and $27.06 by TNT Road Express, the same as Sydney, and orders over $1000 ex. GST ship free.
Transit is quoted at checkout: CouriersPlease at 1 to 4 business days and TNT Road Express at 1 to 3, with the exact figure shown for the postcode entered.
Adelaide's hard water is a known cause of residue under film; the water quality article covers what to check before mixing slip solution.
Warranty That
Stays With The Car
The 7-year limited warranty on Spectra works the same way as on the clear lines: serialised rolls, and every installation registered through e-Warranty within 7 days of invoice.
The record transfers to later owners while it is valid, so the colour change and the protection behind it stay documented when the car is sold.
Training
And Support
Training and support come from the same team that supplies the film, in English and Chinese, so wrap staff moving into colour PPF learn on the film the shop will actually stock.
The Practice Pack gives new installers real film to train on before a customer car.
