COLOUR PPF SUPPLIER BRISBANE
Spectra colour paint protection film for Brisbane wrap and restyling shops.
Brisbane wrap shops and restylers can buy Defcon Spectra colour PPF by the roll: more than 200 colours in gloss and satin, 18 m rolls on selected colours, and a 7-year limited warranty registered through e-Warranty. Spectra changes the colour and protects the paint in one film, which vinyl cannot do. This page covers how colour PPF is quoted, how it compares with vinyl, and freight to Brisbane: about $26.01 by CouriersPlease on a 16-litre drum to a Brisbane postcode. A free sample roll is the first step for a Brisbane shop comparing suppliers.
Colour Work
In Brisbane
Brisbane customers who change colour still want protection from the sun, and Spectra keeps the PPF construction underneath the colour.
Brisbane installers sell protection against sun as much as against stones, and utes and 4WDs heading west or north are a regular part of the work.
Spectra
By The Roll
Defcon Spectra comes in more than 200 colours across gloss and satin finishes, with 18 m rolls on selected colours and a 7-year limited warranty. At PPF-grade thickness it lays down with the depth of an OEM sprayed finish and protects the factory paint underneath.
Prices are listed ex. GST in the online shop, no account needed. The colour PPF wholesale page covers the national range, and the wrap shop page covers how vinyl skills transfer to film.
Spectra
Against Vinyl
Traditional vinyl only changes the look. Spectra does that and takes the stone chips and wash marks too, then comes off cleanly when the owner wants the original paint back. The PPF vs vinyl wrap comparison sets out where each film fits.
Quoting A
Colour Change
Pricing a colour change in film is covered step by step in the restyling quote guide, including how to present it next to a vinyl quote. A free sample roll lets the customer settle the colour before the quote is final.
Colour and clear film are cut from the same OEMC pattern library on the DFA Plotter, so colour work does not need a second workflow. Humidity makes surface prep and slip solution discipline more important, not less.
Freight To
Brisbane
Orders dispatch from Melbourne by CouriersPlease or TNT Road Express. A 16-litre drum of Installation Gel to a Brisbane postcode quotes about $26.01 and $41.93 respectively, and orders over $1000 ex. GST ship free, which covers most roll orders.
Delivery time depends on the postcode and the carrier chosen at checkout, 1 to 3 business days by TNT Road Express or 1 to 4 by CouriersPlease.
Humidity makes surface prep and slip solution discipline more important, and the water quality article covers what to check.
Warranty That
Stays With The Car
A Spectra job is registered through e-Warranty within 7 days of invoice against a serialised roll, and carries a 7-year limited warranty under normal use and proper installation.
The record transfers to later owners while it is valid, so the colour change and the protection behind it stay documented when the car is sold.
Training
And Support
Wrap staff learning film are trained by the team that supplies it, with support in English and Chinese.
The Practice Pack gives new installers real film to train on before a customer car.
