COLOUR PPF SUPPLIER MELBOURNE
Spectra colour paint protection film for Melbourne wrap and restyling shops.
Melbourne wrap shops and restylers can buy Defcon Spectra colour PPF by the roll: more than 200 colours in gloss and satin, 18 m rolls on selected colours, and a 7-year limited warranty registered through e-Warranty. Spectra changes the colour and protects the paint in one film, which vinyl cannot do. This page covers how colour PPF is quoted, how it compares with vinyl, and freight to Melbourne: pickup from Mitcham at no charge, or about $15.67 by CouriersPlease on a 16-litre drum within Melbourne. A free sample roll is the normal first step for a Melbourne shop comparing suppliers.
Colour Work
In Melbourne
Melbourne wrap shops moving into colour PPF are buying from a supplier in their own city: orders can be collected from Mitcham, and a free sample roll settles a colour before a full roll is ordered.
Detailing studios in the east, tint shops on the industrial strips, dealerships filming new stock at pre-delivery and wrap shops moving into colour PPF all buy from the same catalogue.
Spectra
By The Roll
More than 200 Spectra colours run in both gloss and satin, and selected colours come on 18 m rolls. The film carries a 7-year limited warranty and a self-healing top coat, like the clear lines.
Prices are listed ex. GST in the online shop, no account needed. The colour PPF wholesale page covers the national range, and the wrap shop page covers how vinyl skills transfer to film.
Spectra
Against Vinyl
Vinyl changes colour; Spectra changes colour and protects. It absorbs stone chips that tear vinyl, heals light scratches with heat and removes cleanly without damaging the paint. The PPF vs vinyl wrap comparison sets out where each film fits.
Quoting A
Colour Change
The restyling quote guide walks through pricing a Spectra colour change against a vinyl one. A free sample roll lets the customer settle the colour before the quote is final.
Colour and clear film are cut from the same OEMC pattern library on the DFA Plotter, so colour work does not need a second workflow. Melbourne shops can see the DFA Plotter and OEMC pattern software running before they buy.

Melbourne

Warranty That
Stays With The Car
The 7-year limited warranty on Spectra works the same way as on the clear lines: serialised rolls, and every installation registered through e-Warranty within 7 days of invoice.
The record transfers to later owners while it is valid, so the colour change and the protection behind it stay documented when the car is sold.
Training
