PPF SUPPLIER ADELAIDE

Next-state supply for South Australian installers.

Adelaide installers can buy PPF rolls direct from Defcon, with orders dispatched from Melbourne one state over. On a 16-litre drum of Installation Gel to an Adelaide postcode the checkout quotes about $19.28 by CouriersPlease, the same as Sydney, and orders over $1000 ex. GST ship free. This page covers freight and transit, the extra tint rule South Australia applies on top of the national VLT limits, and how satin and colour film fit Adelaide work. A free sample roll lets you test the film before you switch.

Adelaide Is
One State Over

South Australia sits next door to the Melbourne dispatch point, which shows in the freight. On a 16-litre drum of Installation Gel to an Adelaide postcode the checkout quotes about $19.28 by CouriersPlease and $27.06 by TNT Road Express, the same as Sydney, and orders over $1000 ex. GST ship free.

Transit is quoted at checkout, CouriersPlease at 1 to 4 business days and TNT Road Express at 1 to 3, with the exact figure for the postcode entered.

SA Tint Rules
Have An Extra Line

South Australia applies the national 35% front and 20% rear VLT limits, measured through glass and film, and adds a rule the other states do not: the front glass itself must transmit at least 70% before any film goes on, and single cab utes and panel vans have a 0% minimum behind the driver. The VLT guide maps each CoolVue grade to those lines. Tint shops ordering CoolVue by the roll can read the Adelaide window tint supplier page for grades, freight and the local rules.

The working estimate is to multiply the two readings: glass at 80% with CoolVue VLT 75 (72% film transmission) lands around 58%, which passes a front door; the same glass with VLT 35 lands around 28%, which fails.

Satin And Colour
For Adelaide Work

Frozen satin PPF carries a 10-year limited warranty and ships in 1.52 m x 15 m rolls; Spectra colour PPF comes in 200+ colours with a 7-year limited warranty. The gloss vs satin guide covers how to quote each finish. Wrap shops quoting colour changes can read the Adelaide colour PPF supplier page.

Gloss Film
Specification

Glanz and Defcon ONE are aliphatic TPU at 190 microns ±10%, single-point puncture resistance close to 10 kg, and a 13-micron self-healing coat. ARPANSA tested Glanz and recorded 99.0% of UV blocked, reference UVR_25-0370-1.

The specifications guide explains how to read those numbers against any other brand's sheet.

Warranty And
Registration

Every roll is serialised and every installation is registered through e-Warranty within 7 days of invoice. Terms per line are on the warranty page: 12 years on Defcon ONE, 10 on Glanz and Frozen, 7 on Spectra, 3 on Crystal Shield and FleetArmour, lifetime limited on CoolVue.

Cover applies under normal use and proper installation; the warranty guide lists installation-related faults.

Adelaide's hard water is a known cause of residue under film. The water quality article covers what to check before mixing slip solution.

Ordering And
Cutting In-House

Prices are listed ex. GST in the online shop, no account needed. The DFA Plotter and OEMC pattern software let an Adelaide shop cut patterns in-house, with setup done remotely.

Training and support come through the same team, in English and Chinese.

Test Before
Switching

A free sample roll is the normal first step for an Adelaide shop comparing suppliers.

The PPF supplier Australia page covers the national range.
